ICL recently held an adult prom, the Sweethearts Ball, for our intellectually and developmentally disabled (I/DD) constituents.

Sweethearts Ball Success

This month, ICL hosted our inaugural Sweethearts Ball, a prom for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This special evening included dancing, food, games, and many smiles! Our I/DD programs foster community and belonging for our participants—your support makes this work possible. Thank you!

The Innovation Report

We are thrilled to share ICL's 2024 Annual Report, which showcases the impact your generosity has made possible this past year. The report features our continuum of care, which helps New Yorkers living with behavioral health challenges achieve their goals; our new and innovative programs from 2024; and the impact of our work through data.

It also highlights the stories of New Yorkers like Ronald, a veteran who found housing stability with ICL following medical difficulties and homelessness. “Now, I feel like I’m in a good place. I have my own space and feel independent and capable of handling my business,” he said.

Introducing ICL's Leadership Council

ICL’s new Leadership Council is a group of talented and diverse ambassadors who bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and influence to our work. They will focus on identifying meaningful partnerships and raising critical funds to help advance our mission.

We are pleased to introduce the first member of the Council, Brighid Gannon. Brighid is a psychiatric nurse practitioner; the co-founder of Lavender, the largest nurse-owned and operated telepsychiatry practice in the United States; and the founder of Ivy Psychiatry, which provides psychiatric care for patients living in skilled nursing facilities. We are thrilled that Brighid will bring her expertise and commitment to the Leadership Council! If you are interested in joining the Council, please reach out to Brandi Horton at brandi.horton@iclinc.net.
